Welcome to St. Paul’s. We are a family of Christian believers, excited to be part of what God is doing in the world and in our community. We invite you to visit us to see if the rich Spirit of Christ we are experiencing meets your needs as well. Pastor Evan Rohrs-Dodge, staff and church leaders are committed to excellence in ministry. We are servants and imitators of Christ, eager to share from the rich abundance of His blessings.

OUR HISTORY: SERVING BRICK, NJ SINCE 1875

As Brick grew in the late 1800s, Methodist circuit riders traveled the area, preaching in people’s homes. In time, the congregation was ready for a permanent church, and in 1875 the first building was completed at the corner of Herbertsville Road and Thiele Road. Circuit riders continued preaching.

As the community grew, so did the church, and an addition was completed in 1954. The congregation kept growing, and within ten years St. Paul’s had hired a full-time minister and moved to its present location at 714 Herbertsville Road. The congregation dedicated the new building in 1966. Two additions have followed since: the sanctuary and the fellowship hall and classroom wing.

Today that space is home to three choirs, a handbell choir and a praise team, along with Mustard Seed Preschool, which serves children from infancy through age 6. Our youth program includes Sunday School, youth group meetings, retreats and mission trips. Adults and families can join mission trips and service projects throughout the year. Weekly Bible studies meet during the day and in the evening so everyone can take part, and Wednesday night midweek worship at 7 PM has become a favorite.

St. Paul’s also reaches out to the wider community. The Women of St. Paul’s host rummage sales, the Holiday Shoppe and a craft show. The United Methodist Men sell flowers at Easter and Christmas trees in December. New groups, studies and activities are always starting, so there’s always something new at St. Paul’s.

BIBLICAL TEACHING

Here at St. Paul's UMC, we place a high priority on the preaching and teaching of God's Word. The worship service is a time for us to come together as a community to learn, be encouraged, and be challenged by God's Word. Other opportunities exist beyond the Sunday worship service where members can grow, fellowship, or be part of a Church family that lives out their faith together. SERMON

From the pulpit, you will hear sound expository preaching. Each sermon focuses on the point of the biblical text being addressed.

FAMILY FRIENDLY

No matter your family dynamics, you're welcome at St. Paul's UMC, and we're excited for you to consider being a part of our church family! We intend to serve the whole family. During our 9 am worship service, we have care available for infants. Your children will receive real spiritual training from a group of caring leaders during this time.

ATMOSPHERE

It's important to us that you feel welcome when visiting. We hope our atmosphere will help you feel relaxed and comfortable. The music and worship are built around timeless Biblical themes. We are glad to have you join us in worship! You will be greeted and welcomed.
