Pet Ministry

The Pet Ministry is an active group comprised of pet lovers who work together for the good of all pets and their owners.
The following are some of our accomplishments:

ANNUAL BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS

A community outreach family event celebrating the relationship between pets and their owners by bringing them together with resources to enrich their lives.

Each Fall, we hold our Blessing of the Animals, with local Rescues/Shelters bringing their "adorable adoptables" in hopes of finding them "furever" homes.  Many pets have been adopted as a result of meeting at our event.
Each pet receives their own individual Blessing from one of our Pastors.
In 2024, Tex was brought by a local shelter to receive his blessing.  When he approached Miss Melissa, our Youth and Family Ministries Director, he practically climbed into her lap.  He has been living his best life in Melissa and Mike's home ever since.

BRICK POLICE K9 UNIT BALLISTIC VESTS

Through the generosity of our congregation, St. Paul's has raised the funds and donated the cost of Ballistic Vests for two Brick K9s.  It is our goal to "Protect the Paws, that Enforce the Paws."

ST PAUL'S PET FOOD PANTRY

Our latest accomplishment was the opening of the Pet Food Pantry in August 2024, to supplement pet owners with the feeding of their cats and dogs. We are open on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, from 4-6 PM. (Our hours are the same as the Food Pantry.) We are always in need of 10-LB bags of Cat and Dog kibble/dry food.  If you are having difficulty feeding your pets due to financial challenges, we are here for you.  If you do not need food, please consider donating to help feed another pet.

PET SUPPLIES DONATIONS

We collect gently used collars, leads, pet bedding, coats, and sweaters. Kindly launder before donating.   We also accept blankets and sheets for our Rescue and Shelter friends.  Again, kindly launder the items before donating.

The Pet Ministry is always looking for new members to serve the pet-loving community.
All that is required is a Love of Animals and a desire to serve.
